The Dinner Party Company is run by David Wakefield and his highly professional team of dedicated and loyal staff.

With over 25 years’ experience in the catering industry, I initially started as a 16 year old on a training scheme with De Vere Hotels working at a few of their Cheshire hotels. After a few years I became second chef at Mottram Hall Hotel one of the finest hotels in Cheshire . After a very Successful 18 months I then took a head chef position at McCann Erickson Manchester based at the prestigious Bonis Hall in Prestbury Cheshire specialising in corporate event catering for McCanns worldwide client base covering areas such as high profile business lunches, conferences and seminars, and gourmet dinner parties. Demand led me into the areas of wedding and family occasions catering before the final icing on the cake – providing an exclusive dinner party service directly to the venue of your choice.  I have a nothing-is-a-problem attitude to all individual catering functions and this has taken me in many directions, from providing the catering at a grand 15th Century castle wedding, to a fish ‘n’ chip and champagne themed corporate event, to a surprise dinner party for one ladies 40th in her own home.

This has now culminated into being on the approved caterers list of over 50 venues around the Peak District , Cheshire and South Manchester to offer a high quality Dinner Party experience in the property or venue you have hired . My expertise lies in treating each event as a clean slate that can be tailored to your individual requirements.
